Emotions

Controlling emotions is more about disallowing these to control us. Observe how debilitating an emotion van be such as anger or sulking. This is not to say that some negative emotions such as anger are not useful when well-placed (emergencies). Additionally, we can help foster the constructive nature of positive emotions by letting go of negative ones; for example, fear may have to step aside so that courage might surface.

 

In practice, each task becomes a lifestyle issue, a way to live meditatively.

Notice how we punish ourselves and others through venting off our frustrations and negative or poisonous feelings. Sadly, an equal and reactive response follows and the cycle of unrest is spread around perpetually as good or bad Karma.
